Acacia Sex & Relationship Therapy

Supporting individuals and couples with intimacy, sexuality, relationships, identity and emotional wellbeing through compassionate, confidential therapy.

I offer a calm, respectful, and non-judgemental therapeutic space where you can speak openly about experiences that may feel difficult to discuss elsewhere. Whether you are navigating a specific sexual difficulty, a relationship challenge, questions around identity, or a general sense of disconnection, therapy can provide support, insight and practical tools for change.

  • Adults across all life stages

I work with individuals, couples and partners who may be experiencing difficulties with intimacy, desire, communication, sexual confidence, emotional connection, pain, anxiety, shame, identity, trust, or changes in their relationship.

You do not need to have the right words before you get in touch. Many people arrive feeling unsure, embarrassed, overwhelmed or uncertain about whether their experiences are “normal”. Therapy is not about judgement or blame. It is about making space to understand what is happening and what might help.

How does it work?

You are welcome to begin with a free 10 minute phone consultation. This is a chance to briefly speak with Sam, ask any initial questions and decide whether therapy feels like the right next step.

If you choose to continue, the first appointment is usually an assessment session. This gives us time to understand what has brought you to therapy, what you would like support with and what kind of work may be most helpful.

Sessions are available for individuals and for partnered therapy. Each session lasts 50 minutes and can take place online or in person.

You only need to share what you feel ready to share. The first step is simply making contact.

In Person & Online

In Person

In person sessions take place in a quiet garden office, designed to feel calm, private and comfortable. The space offers a peaceful setting away from the busyness of everyday life, while remaining professional and confidential.

Online

Online therapy is available for clients who prefer to meet from home or who are not able to attend in person. Sessions take place by video call. You will need a private space where you feel comfortable speaking openly and will not be interrupted.

Both options can offer meaningful therapeutic work. The right choice is the one that feels most accessible and comfortable for you.
